Great local pub with good food too. Lounge with decent selection of high quality food. I’ve never had a bad meal here. The salmon and lamb are particularly good. Good portion size and not over priced. Family friendly and the covered terrace outside is an option as it’s heated and can fit larger groups. The bar is welcoming if you’re just having a drink and is not a “locals only” place. Professional bar staff make a difference and are a rarity these days. Good pint too. Highly recommended
I love this pub and have been going to it for over ten years. On my latest visit, I found the food very good as usual and couldn't complain, abit delayed, but worth the wait. But the reason for 3 stars on this review, was the managing of floor staff was poor and very scattered. And on a couple of occasions when asking a server a question or query about the menu, I was met with dismissal in response to my questions. I have family background in restaurants/pubs and have worked and managed in restaurants for over 18 years. Hopefully the service improves as it's a great little spot in general for local grub
They have option for Vegan and Vegetarians. The food and service is good.
What can I say what a great place for food,pints and a super friendly atmosphere and great staff. Whether it's for sports or just a chat with friends. Highly recommend 5*
Lovely food. Super place for vegan or vegetarian food. A chef who know how to actually give taste to these types of meals
Haven’t seen Chinese style spice bowls done well in pubs but have to say the spice bowl was excellent and portion size was great. Nachos also really good, the Guinness was lovely and the staff were all very attentive and friendly. Shout out to Jessica for looking after us!
This pub is really nice the restaurant was great and the food was excellent..I recommend try the steak. Good selection on the menu..it was my 1st time to be there and I will be back..
Our favourite place for a nice impromptu first class dinner with a drink. The service is fantastic and the atmosphere just wonderful. Thank you two sisters
