Went for a Sunday roast and it was delicious. Really tasty, great portion size, and nice relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly, bar one fella who had a horrible manner to be honest. Still though, delicious and wouldn’t put me off heading back! If they have the salted caramel roulade, give it a try!
The Sunday roast is well worth a trip to this jewel. We had a scotch egg to start, which was fantastic, I had the roast beef, which was superb, really flavourful and cooked exactly as I would like. My better half had the chicken supreme which was lovely. Cooneys cider and some IPA from kinegar to slake the thirst, a lovely Nero D'Avola to accompanying the beef. Went upstairs and grabbed a couple of wingback chairs to enjoy a nice selection of their whiskey range. Perfect day
A group of 8 of us from work had an early bird menu here. Our waiter could not do enough for us and other staff we encountered were very friendly and professional too. The food was nice, I would have liked something other than burgers or fish to choose from on the early bird, but what they did offer was hot and tasty. The toilets were really clean. The wine was lovely and staff helped to choose/advised if needed. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Great value for money. We will definitely be back.
Nice pub food at restaurant prices. Early bird menus for regular pub food odd. Plain burgers with lettuce leaf. No side salad. No relish. Presentation poor. Nice atmosphere. Trying to hard to be fine dining in a pub.
You'll not get a warmer welcome, this is a perfect place for great food, catch ups or solo dining and great wines Vegetarian options: Very good quality
Very welcoming pub with a tasty, homemade Sunday Roast. Nice beer selection. Husband and wife run the place and were more than. accommodating to us non-locals.
The bartender, Jeff or Geoff, or Geff, I 'm not sure of his name, as I should be coming out of an Irish Pub, is a virtuoso of craft beer while being an old school, omniscient barman. It is a beautiful balance, set in place by Máire, who is unquestionably the administrator and facilitator for the pub's activity. This great management coupled with exceptional staff choice who can deliver their knowledge on drinks produces an authentic pub experience while still delivering delicious craft beers/wines/cocktails along with a comfortable setting. This pub, although off the usual beaten path of Camden and Dame Lane, is 100% worth it. Could not recommend this pub anymore
I love this pub, Jeff the boss is so helpful when ordering drinks or food. The pub the 57headline offers a variety of out of this world spirits. The food is fresh, to die for. This is my haven. ENJOY FOLKS.
It was great to get back to The Headline again last night. Such lovely staff, tasty food and great selection of beer and wine. I heartily recommend their new chicken thigh burger, tastiest chicken burger I’ve ever had!
Cosy atmosphere. Owners always make you feel welcome. Food is reasonable and also what a fabulous wine selection.
