Best Guinness in Dublin by far!!! Great staff and great environment. It's not a "fake" Irish looking bar, it's a real Irish bar!! Make sure to go visit if you are near St Patrick's cathedral or Teelings Distillery.
Dropped in, almost never left… small, rustic, comfortable and friendly publicans and Irish crowd. Totally smooth pints of Guinness and my wife thoroughly loved her Irish coffee. Now our new local. Gets more crowded after 8p… closes late.. Enjoy!
Fantastic bar, great atmosphere and even better Guinness. They do a very nice ham and cheese toasty
Great local pub! Staying at the hotel next door so have gone a few times and it never disappoints. Great Guinness and the staff is wonderful. Both bartenders give great advice on where to go, what to see and what to avoid. Always super friendly
Fantastic old pub with lots of character, great whiskey and a great atmosphere
Any place you show the barman 2 fingers, and he knows what’s what, is a good spot. Helps that the pint is 5/5 too.
Lovely little pub with good quality, fresh Guinness. It can be too packed and can be hard to find a table but overall very positive experience
On holiday in Dublin and staying at the Hyatt a block away, we came here almost every night for a nightcap. Great atmosphere and quick service!! Definitely crowded but people are coming and going so not too hard to get a table.
Loved this place. One of the few really genuine looking small bars that we visited in Dublin didn't try very hard mind. It's a single room with a small snug at the front which is just symbolically partitioned from the rest of the bar. It feels as if nothing has changed in here for years and don't know if that is intentional or just a lack of investment. Either way the result is great and we were the only tourists in here at lunchtime. The barman served us at the table and didn't take money until we left. The lad serving with him was doing lunch which was largely based on the saucepan of soup and toastie maker on the counter behind him. Men's toilet is straight out of the 1940s and the doorway is hilariously narrow. They really were a lot smaller in those days!
One of the best Pubs I've been to. Cosy, little place with lovely people inside. No tourist trap, original Dublin Style.
