Great, friendly service, a varied menu with reliable food and some nice wines. This is my go-to restaurant when I want to be well looked after. Highly recommended.

Beautiful food with a good atmosphere. The lady in charge was lovely and ensured you were ok and enjoying it and had everything you need. Prices were good and well worth it for the meals we ordered. Service was fast and we never felt rushed whilst eating or relaxing afterwards

I have eaten here a number of times and enjoyed every visit. The menu and the wine list are both excellent. It is a shame you cannot book though as this does sometimes put us off going in case we can't get a table. We fell foul of this recently when we arrived to find the restaurant was shut due to holidays. Still good quality family run restaurants are a bit of a rarity in the area so we will definitely be returning!

Heard good things about this restaurant so went there with a guest. Not impressed as sardine starter was nearly all bread crumbs and duck liver was tough with the accompanying brushetta being dry. The mains were Ok as the prawn and pasta dish was pronounced acceptable but the accompanying salad had no dressing and none was offered. Steak cooked to perfection but was supposed to be a "Rossini" where the meat is served on a cruton and a bed of pate. There was a very hard piece of toasted bread under the steak and the pate was a lump dumped on top of the meat, very poor standards. What could have been an excellent bottle of Borollo was ruined by being served ice cold, just to add insult. The sardine starter was mentioned to the waitress but no word from the chef and full price charged. Wait staff need some sharpening up in diner attentivness and a bit of heat would greatly improve the experience. To sum up, this place is no more an Italian restaurant than the average pub and I strongly suspect that a number of dishes in offer are bought in ready prepared items. Avoid as 100 Sterling is mad money and if this restaurant was in Dublin, it would be gone in short order.
