The Vicarage; Freehouse & Rooms

Stunning little pub in the countryside. So warm and cosy. We went in a party of 9 and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. All 9 of us were so impressed with our food. It was a shame we all didn't take a picture of the food because it looked that good. I will be visiting again very soon.

Quirky restaurant and pub with good food and a great selection of drinks. Parking can get a bit busy but definately worth a visit. A cut above some other local offerings.

Lovely relaxing break as always. Fabulous food, very clean well equipped rooms and great staff. The surroundings are beautiful. Definitely worth a visit.

Stopped off for a great breakfast near to motorway better than service station booked table on route via phone magic!

Could have been great. But ........ It was a Friday in December and by half past nine the disco was, er... Somewhat intrusive. The duck breast was lovely. Unfortunately, with the three sprouts and half a dozen berries that accompanied it, it didn't amount to a dinner! The waitress handled my feedback well and the beer was good. Shame really, could have been great. So disappointing! J
