Great selection and the customer interaction with Neil Young was top-notch. He was knowledgeable about their shoes and provided excellent expertise on sizing and caring for my new purchase. Thank you! Dave USA - Colorado
Tricker’s are known for their heavy country Brogues and boots. In that category they are without equal. One can tell they are built to last for a very long time. Should the sole need replacing, one can send them to their Northampton factory. It currently costs £150, I believe. What is interesting are the options one has: there are rubber soles in various colours and if one wants the pull tab on a boot to have a different colour to match the sole, then that’s also possible. And not to forget: everything is made in Northampton. Nothing is sent abroad as with some other brands. What needs to be considered is the cost per wear. There are cheaper shoes, but how long do they last? Can they be repaired and if so, on the original last? In the end it’s better to get a pair of Tricker’s :
I had an excellent experience with Tricker’s. The shop is quintessentially British. The quality of their shoes are second to none. Once you go there you will only be buying shoes from them from now on. Excellent selection of shoes and great customer service
June 2022. I walked in because there was a sale on and I was fully prepared to buy a new pair of shoes. Initially the two salesmen didn't pay attention to me but as I asked for sizes one of them started looking through the cupboards in a visibly uninterested way. I speak with a foreign accent but I pride myself on speaking English correctly- on multiple occasions the salesman looked and me confused when I mention "hand-grade shoes" and "top-end shoes" and proceeded to explain to me "we don't have grades of shoes" in a condescending tone. Most disappointing experience on Jermyn Street, the only good thing I can mention is the beautiful shop.
I'm in town on vacation and wanted to get a nice pair of boots and Neil was absolutely fantastic in assisting me. I loved the conversation and his help in getting me fitted properly.
Popped in to try a few pairs of the country boots. Received first class service and advice on what was a very busy day in the sales. They didn't have the style I wanted in stock on the day so I ordered from the website. Beautiful boots.
Great service undestructable shoes, they dont know it but they make the best gun belts ever, very thick and not very wide.
A truly lovely shop, selling wonderful shoes. Even if you're not currently thinking of buying, do yourself a favour and drop in. The staff are real old school -- not pompous or anything like it -- just interested in helping people think about what they want.
I bought a pair of Malton boots and the service I got from the shop was great . The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The boots themselves are the best you will buy as far as I am concerned.
I bought shoes here 4 months ago. What can I say. Certainly the best service and shoes I have ever had. I'll be back on my next visit to London.
