Very lovely Guesthouse. Andy and Sue who runs this are very friendly and welcoming. Everything beautifully laid out the decor in the rooms were lovely with lots of personal finishes second to none. Each day we were welcomed with home baked shortbread and slices of cake left in our room. You could also help yourself to bottles of water left in the fridge. Breakfast was delicious and well presented We would definitely recommend this Guesthouse and would stay again. Patricia and Nigel - June 2021
We had a dreamy stay. Sue and Andy were just delightful, lovely to chat to, incredibly accommodating and cooked an amazing breakfast. The place is the perfect location and was immaculately clean. And the homemade ginger cake and shortbread on arrival was a lovely touch. If I could give more stars, I would!
I stayed here in Aug 21 and was immediately made welcome, as though I was a family friend rather than a paying guest. Each morning the breakfasts were incredible particularly the scrambled eggs and Andy & Sue were keen to hear my plans and offer suggestions. I won't hesitate to stay here again if I visit Minehead in the future.
Andy & Sue are the perfect hosts, very friendly and obiliging. Ideal location for the shops, restaurants/bars and the beach. Private off street parking a bonus too. Fantastic choice for breakfast, highly recommend Andy's scrambled eggs! The added touches of homemade shortbread each day left in your room with fresh milk and cold water from the fridge were very welcome. Very high standard of hygiene especially with covid restrictions still in place. Highly recommended.
Ideal location on a quiet road yet literally a few minutes away from the beach, cafes, restaurants, shops and pubs. Andy and Sue were perfect hosts, ever welcoming, obliging, and cheerful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our two very comfortable rooms had been immaculately prepared with all COVID-19 precautions necessary - no-one but ourselves entered the rooms during our 5 night stay. Breakfast choices were wide ranging and freshly prepared and very tasty! We can completely recommend Tregonwell House for a perfect stay in Minehead.
What a fabulous place to stay, Andy & Sue are really the best hosts ever, the little extra touches that you get.......home made shortbread in rooms, divine cake waiting in the hall to enjoy with a cuppa after a day sightseeing. fluffy towelling bath robes, every toiletry you need. fabulous breakfast, scrambled egg the best ever ! Oh go see for yourselves....you will feel home from home !!
Lovely room and breakfast was great.The owners are really accommodating and helpful the swiss roll and shortbread left for the guests were a nice touch.Great location for the centre and the beachabout 1 minute walk to the centre and a further minute to the beach. Really pleasant stay and would definitely recommend.
Stayed here for 2 nights of our little break away, and had such a warm welcome from both Sue and Andy. Little touches like, shortbread in our room, body/hand lotion, which Matt loved..... Will now have to buy him some ; and gave us good advice on places to visit. Would definitely recommend and will be booking again to stay in the future.
Fantastic bed and breakfast. Andy and Sue are excellent hosts. Great choice for breakfast, rooms are very clean. Great location for the town of Minehead. We plan to book for next year soon.
Love it here. Have stayed annually for quite a number of years. Spotlessly clean always, warm and very well maintained and presented. Really tasty breakfast with plenty of choice for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Really friendly hosts.
