Impromptu stay at this hotel on way back from Cornwall - we turned up late and the staff couldn't do enough to point us in the right direction to get food! Breakfast was lovely and the pool and spa were a great bonus too! Lovely Gardens! Would recommend just on the service alone! ThanksRooms: 4/5
Location fab, great garden, super views, comfy bed, nice fitness-pool area. Room was not deep cleaned and furniture tired but view great. Dinners were tasty not value for money meagre portions of vegetables. No price lists for food or drinks available, being told to pay in full for your stay when registering before seeing your room. Allowing aggressive large dogs to menace the place was inexcusable
We enjoyed our stay at the Northfield Hotel 7th - 10th October. The room we had was very comfortable and had a lovely view of the garden and the sea in the distance. The staff were very friendly. The breakfasts were a great way to begin the day and the evening meals were very enjoyable and well presented.
Room nice clean and quiet with decent shower. Good pool and gym, unfortunately the spa pool was closed and steam room somewhat variable but minor. Ate there and concerned at limited menu but though the choice was small what they do make is excellent and staff were excellent. Short walk into town and local pubs so really good.
Had a really good visit. Beautiful gardens, good food, staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Room was excellent with a good bed. Overall we would recommend this hotelRooms: 5/5
Lovely hotel, close to sea front and town centre. Not a boutique hotel, but spacious rooms, clean and comfy with beautiful gardens. Restaurant food very nice, reasonably priced. Would visit again. Walkability: Easy walking distance of quaint Harbour, sea front, shops & cafes. Also 5 mins walk from West Somerset Railway station.
Friendly staff in reception/bar. Poor selection at the bar. Very hot inside the hotel lobby area and room, had to sleep with all the windows open. The wardrobe in the room was almost falling over and wobbly. They allow dogs but then don't allow them to use the grassed areas, seems backwards. Unfortunately wouldn't recommend or stay again.
Really enjoyable stay. All staff absolutely amazing especially Devon the barman who took really good care of us all weekend. Nothing was too much trouble and he was a really super guy.Rooms: 4/5
Another great trip to Northfield Hotel. The staff here are brilliant. Remembered us from last time. Tracy in the restaurant and Devon in the bar were brilliant. The rooms are huge, excuse the mess in the picture, our Granddaughter made the room hers. The restaurant is nice and the table is yours for the whole of your stay. Nice lounges, where you can sit and relax with a cup of tea/coffee. Great pool and jacuzzi downstairs for a nice swim. Also a stairlift for those who can't make stairs. A great hotel for a relaxing stay, highly recommended.
The staff were welcoming it was dog friendly the room was beautiful and the food was good too just a short walk to town would highly recommend this hotelRooms: 5/5
