Stayed one night for work. Enough free parking, but it does share a car park with the pub so I can imagine it being a small carpark when both are busy. The room was very clean and the staff were all friendly. We both slept well and had hot showers, it's nice and quiet in the rooms even though it's next to a busy main road. Pet friendly, but not much space on site to walk the dog. Would stay here again.
A typical travel lodge. Standard room, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water. No frills, hanging space, tea making facilities, TV, paid for WiFi after 30 mins, bathroom with shower into the bath. Double double glazed with was required as it is next to a busy road and engine noise could be heard at times. Friendly staff at reception. No warm breakfast options. Better value if booked in advance as was reasonably expensive as we booked late... Plenty of parking. Rooms: Decent double bed, hanging space, tea making facilities, TV, paid for WiFi after 30 mins, bathroom with shower into the bath. Typical Travelodge experience, reasonably quiet considering the surrounding roads. Well connected for M6 and Manchester. Pub restaurant next door and petrol station with convenience store just across the road.Rooms: 4/5
I was given the room over looking the cross roads. Soon as I opened the door I had a very strong smell of bleach. Stains on the towels that was in the bathroom. Bathroom door stopper was not fixed down. Door hinges looked rusted. But I think it's where they are oiling them. Found a sock to which was left by someone. Did not have much sleep. All I could hear was the traffic outside. Got up about half one and left .Carpet could do with a new one. Not enough plug sockets in the room. On the upside the shower was great.
Very nice staff. Beds new and comfortable. We were near the road but it didn’t keep us awake ok some furniture in our room was dated but the beds were great. We had a twin room. We got proper beds not a double and a settee. Very good price we searched for a good price and found this Travelodge. Reception staff extremely helpful and very friendly. We would go back again.
The chambermaids are noisy and all you can here is creaking floorboards im working nights so that doesnt help but still not goodRooms: 2/5
Overnight stay while visiting family. Room lovely and clean, bed comfortable, staff friendly and perfect location for us, just 10 minutes drive from our family. Will definitely use againRooms: 5/5
In terms of cleanliness and comfort deffinately one of the better travelodge. Good sized room and new clean carpet.Rooms: 5/5
Perfect for our halfway stop from Scotland. Great value for money. Clean rooms and friendly staff.Rooms: 4/5
Kind staff and room was fine for an overnight stay but no breakfast facilities and the restaurant next door didn’t open until 12.
