Comfortable stay with very friendly staff. Very clean as you would expect. My only issue would be as I was on a road side was the road noise as I'm a light sleeper. It does fade through the the night so managed to get a descent night's sleep.

Staff are absolutely lovely, the 2 stars I cos it's a basic hotel, get what you pay for... The showers are so low it's an act of contortion in order to wash! The A1 is a pretty view too

What Travelodge do well. Warm, clean and comfortable room with bath and shower. Free parking outside. The fast food burger outlet next door closes about 8 in the evening, there is a express supermarket nearby but visit before pulling into the Travelodge as the lodge is on the south bound of the A1 duel carriageway.

Hotel is situated 20 yds from the A1, the noise is horrendous. The windows have zero soundproofing, even when closed and creating a sweat box - the provided fan span into action for less than 3 seconds and then died, much like I would have done had I attempted to stay there as booked for the entire week.

Really great survived there's a diner and burger king opposite but the single beds are uncomtable yet the main beds are really comftable
