Location is excellent with free parking, only 5 minutes walk to the city centre. Room was really comfortable and clean, great shower.nBreakfast was great, we asked for an omelette and vegan sausages and they were happy to oblige. A special shoutout to the lady in the restaurant, Ramana, she was so nice and friendly, and very helpful.
Lovely hotel with a great personal touch from reception. I had driven from London for a football match happening the next day, the receptionist extended my stay in the car pack at no extra cost. The hotel is centrally located in the City Centre on the main A15 road with a shopping centre and Asda adjacent on the otherside. The rooms were very spacious compared to other Radissons I have stayed in, comfy beds and clean. Peaceful as well considering my room had a view of the A15 itself. Peterborough Cathedral is less than 5 minutes away with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars to suit everyone's tastes. The River Nene is nearby too, I recommend the Charters bar on a Dutch Barge boat, if you like Real Ale, Burgers and Asian Food. Great stay despite a 3-0 defeat for Charlton Athletic at London Road, easily accessible to A1 motorway and Peterborough Train Station roughly 10 minutes walk to hotel!
Excellent hotel which exceeded my expectations.nI stayed in a 'superior' room on a high floor; whilst basic as I'd expect for the price, which was good the room was modern, well presented and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the rainfall shower worked well. It had a large TV and an ironing board, and slippers/bathrobes were provided which I didn't expect.nThe breakfast was among the best I've had at an economy hotel - the selection was good, all of the food was fresh and I was impressed to see a separate gluten-free area with its own toaster.nThe location was ideal for the train station, it was an easy and well-lit 10 minute walk.nMy one disappointment was with the TV in the room, because even though it was a great size it was not connected to the internet so I couldn't use its streaming options, and it didn't seem to be compatible with casting other than using Miracast Samsung which doesn't support my Google phone. There was also not really anywhere comfortable to watch the TV from, since there was only one chair in the room and the wall behind the bed was hard and not flat which made sitting up uncomfortable. A better headboard would help.nOverall I was very pleased with the room and breakfast, and I would absolutely stay here again.
Car park is full of trades vehicles. Guests unable to reserve a parking space. Heating on 3rd floor was not working and we were allocated a room there and not advised about this.nGin choice extremely poor, no decent quality dry London gin.nGood location.
Had a few nights stay here and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The breakfast fry up is just what you need and has plenty of options. The food served for dinner is delicious and it is easy to tell that the chef is a proud one. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable however the shower felt a bit dirty and the windows showed a lot of condensation in the mornings. This could be due to the fact that the heating completely did not work and only blew out cold air which was disappointing but bearable. Location is great and central.
