Joshua gave great bar service, very funny and entertaining person, the room 47 is a little tired, could do with a carpet clean, the light fitting thick with dust and mold spits through the bedroom and bathroom, a new shower screen should be installed ASAP as the curtain is failing leaving water to flow on the floor. Dust on the door backs, frames and behind TV just felt like nobody cares enough, these jobs only need doing once per month yet the build up indicates a lot lot longer, pretty disappointing.

Staff are lovely and very helpful. nHandy place to stay to watch 'Posh' play.Handy base to visit Peterborough the Fens etc.nI had an enjoyable stay and will return again. Big breakfast, self service.nMy only complaint is the bed was sunken on one side with a deep indentation. I would even stay again with that poor bed as I slept on the other half. Room 6 good for a person alone.nClean, tidy and affordable.nX

Returned from a weekend, can't fault a thing for the money. Great value, lovely front of house staff.nThree of us were looking for a hotel to stay at 3-4 times a year and have found it!

I checked out from Queensgate Hotel this morning after a 2 day stay and I have started to come out in bed bug bites across most of my body. Pretty certain that these aren't caused by mosquitos as the bites are all over my arms and legs, but I was wearing jeans + long sleeved clothes during the day. I was staying in Room 50 - please carry out an inspection to make sure other people don't have the same experience.nnOtherwise, the room was fine - just what you would expect from a budget hotel. The bed was quite comfy, bathroom was clean enough, body wash was provided. No kettle provided unfortunately but the tap water was hot enough to make a quick instant coffee. The area is a bit of a dead zone, but only 10-15 minutes walk from the city centre and well served by buses.

Great value for money, the reception staff were lovely and helpful and a real laugh. Rooms were clean and tidy. Only slight niggle was no kettle in the rooms but we were able to get drinks at the bar.
