It's good for this price point. Decent rooms. We have got a good city view from our room. Clean toilets. It doesn't have its own parking but there is a paid parking, Euro car park very close by which is recommended from travelodge website. I would recommend this if you're planning to stay in the city with affordable price.Rooms: 5/5
Really good location if you want to visit Oxford and the surrounding area. The hotel itself is located next to a services so its ideal if you want to pick up a bite to eat. We stopped on a Friday night for just shy of £70, which I thought was a bargain. The front of the hotel and the lobby were really clean and modern. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. Are room was nice, and what you would expect from a Travelodge, albeit in need of a little tlc. The carpets seemed to be stained from some sort of bleach and one of the bedside tables had been pulled off the wall. Other than that though, it was ideal!
You get what you pay for. Not the cleanest of hotels. The staff where OK. The only benefit was the hotel next door holiday Inn. Was able to use bar to get get food and drinks, as travellodge has not got a bar. So bonus cheap room but great bar next door. Maybe next time will invest I paying other hotels prices.Rooms: 1/5
We had a very comfortable stay in this hotel. It was conveniently located near the park and ride so we didn't have any trouble getting there. They didn't serve hot meals but there are restaurants nearby so not an issue. Great value for money!Rooms: 5/5
Stayed here on business. Staff were friendly. Reception was clean and welcoming, though lacking seating areas for waiting. My room was a standard double and appeared depressing and poorly lit, a refurb is needed. Bathroom was clean and adequately equipped, though mold has started growing around the seals and shower curtain. You get what you pay for, which isn't much, but fairly well located to access central Oxford and surrounding areas without the city premium. 3/5 Rooms: Mostly clean, albeit simple and dated. In need of modernisation. Walkability: Walking distance to the service station and park & ride. Food & drinks: Vending machine in the foyer, 24h garage nearby serving snacks and coffee. Service station open during the day.
Pretty disappointed with our two stays this year. I know its cheapish but it doesn't mean it has to be lacking. Staff are friendly enough but pretty useless when it comes to sorting things out. We had to ask for things to be done - more towels, top ups of milk etc, our room was never cleaned until we asked, the shower didn't work the first 2 nights due to pressure issues, our beds were never made or changed in the 5 nights we stayed. There was excrement down the outside of the toilet which never got cleaned on asking so I did it myself! Gross! I was told by customer service via telephone that I could get NHS discount but told by a staff member they didnt do it. There is not much clothes space for two adults let alone three. Only a small hanging space and four shelves. No chest drawers, no bedside drawers either. We had to leave a lot in our cases. A family of four would have no chance. They should provide bath mats as it's dangerous getting out of the bath. And mini fridges would help in at least some rooms for families that stay for longer than a couple of nights, we certainly could have done with a fridge for five nights stay. So all in all very disappointed with Travel Lodge. Would not recommend staying for longer visits, not equipt for it. Rooms: Need updating, very basic.
Travelodge Oxford Peartree is a fabulous hotel. We had booked a family room, the room was clean and fresh, smelled good, the tea and coffee was well stocked We had a great night sleep - was really peaceful and beds were good. The reception staff were helpful and courteous - Victoria in particular is a fab team player - she deserves a medal. WiFi on MacBook was an issue, which didn't get resolved. Otherwise this is value for money and would definitely recommend to all.
Excellent location city centre as nextbro Park and ride with parking at only £4 per day for those staying. Rooms were clean, great service, highly recommend if needing somewhere to sleep overnight. Plenty of restaurants in the city.Rooms: 5/5
Arrived from France after being out of the country for a long period of time at night did not notice you have to pay extra for parking via a machine. Then received £160 fine . There are apparently signs but not being used to this system I am disappointed that the parking parasites don't give innocent parties like myself a chance to correct this without stiff penalties. They have just lost a good customer at travel lodge throughout the UK. Never again
Lots of mould in bathrooms and on the bedroom wall. Carpets heavily stained and need replacing. Reception smelt of smoke and receptionists were busy gossiping. Fine if you want a cheap stay but it's not a nice place to be at.Rooms: 1/5
