The staff at this travel lodge are amazing. Very helpful, polite and their service is excellent. I have been staying in room 102, it's been spotless each time I have stayed. This travel lodge is in a central location. There is a nearby separately operated car park £8:00 for 24 hours, 30 sec walk away. It's a must stay tops all other travel lodges I have stayed in. Thanks to all the staff
I spent a few nights here. The service was okay. The room felt more like a students room as it was soo basic for example, there is a desk area, very small wardrobe area to hang clothes, coats and a little area on top to store things in.nnThey give you a very small kettle and free tea bags, coffee, milk cups and sugar which you can help yourself to downstairs.nnThey give you bath towels and hand towels.nnA small/very dusty TV which should have been dusted for health and safety!nnBath was very small and slippery. You couldn't even bathe in there to be honest. Be very careful when showering.nnFan didn't work in the bathroom so bathroom got pretty steamy!!!nnThe radiator heat was good.nnMattress was lumpy. Pillows were uncomfortable and gave me a neck ache when I woke up in the morning.nnCleaners only came in once a week but didn't really clean the bathroom. Only the carpet and the rubbish was taken out.nnI also smelled cannabis in the hallways and lift. It also may have been coming from one of the rooms I was opposite to on the second floor.nnThe member of staff named Chrissy was helpful, polite, smiley and informative!nnI heard how they are going to refurbished the hotel! Hopefully it will be more modern than it is now!
loved my stay , was very happy with my room lovely view outside window was on top floor ,could see craisbrook castle .nThe staff was so lovely and friendly . Must mention the lovely Doreen and also the lovely Chrissie always had time for me . and all the other staff I saw sorry can't remember there names was very helpful and so pleasant, everyone always had a smile for you . I come to visit my sister's grave in mount joy cemetry in Craisbrook. If I come again I would definitely stay at this place . Well done guys,
Rooms, beds and bathrooms are tidy and clean. No cupboards to keep the dress and baggage. Just a few open hangers. Linens and towels are provided. No free Wi-fi. No onsite parking. Although it is adjacent to the high street, it is calm inside the room. Office desk is provided with two plug points in an awkward position and can't be extended unless you have an extension with a cable. Breakfast is just ok.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful and made my husband and i totally welcome. Breakfast was good to
