The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff are lovely and accommodating (as well as very patient and tolerant of drunk guests!) Restaurant is very good too.

Very nice helpful staff with lovely personalities. The restaurant was not in use as it was being refurbished but they did supply a breakfast box with some tasty things, porridge, muffin, biscuits, orange juice and some mixed fruit. If I had to make one criticism then it would be with the room. I felt it was tired-looking, there were marks on the walls, the toilet bowl was stained and the bathroom tiles had gaps in the grout. Whenever I have stayed in a Premier Inn before it's always been extremely well looked after. The bedding was superb, clean and fresh and the bed very comfortable. No other complaints.

Room are a little tired. The big problem was that adjoining Beefeater restaurant when I asked how long the food had been sitting under the heat lamps the manager got extremely defensive and a heated exchange took place across the restaurant between myself, another customer and manager then the parting shot from the manager was ' McDonalds is up the road if you prefer' and the manager then proceeded to call myself and other customer liars. Needless to say I was not impressed.

Rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. Based close to the town centre only a 10 minute walk. Would stay again

Hotel itself is nice. Friendly staff and large clean rooms. Only problem is if you are in the 50% of the rooms overlooking the car park it can get noisy with people arriving and departing from about 9pm-11pm as drunk people roll out of the pub next door. Otherwise, it's perfectly fine and well located. Wi-Fi is slow and useless though. Disconnects regularly and is ultra slow.
