Great location right near Lost Gardens of Heligan, Eden Project and the A30 for places like Land's End. Service was wonderful, staff were welcoming and were extremely nice. However, the rooms did not have AC and the fan did help a bit but it was not enough to be honest. Overall, it is actually a great place to stay for a vacation in the Cornish countryside. Side note. 10/10 breakfast
Very nice lady at the reception Clean and tidy reception, large area to have something to eat, drink, breakfast.nConfortable room, will be nice a better kind of mattress and a new window.nMany convenient shops around Just 10 minutes walk to the town center.
I stay in a lot of travelodges all over the country and in all honestly, this is one of the friendliest one's I've stayed in, yes the rooms are roasting hot, yes they run out of things in the cafe bar but the staff go out of there way to compensate and make up for it, by being helpful , attentive and polite. I would definitely stay here again. this is my 3rd week at this hotel .
Standard Travelodge made better by the fantastic staff. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys.nThe food is decent, they have happy hour from 5pm - 7pm where the drinkers can get a pint of Stella or Bud for £3.50.nThe small trading estate that the hotel is situated on gets busy with all the junk food addicts frequenting McD's and Kill Feathery Chickens but parking is free and usually available.nIf it wasn't for the staff then the rating would be lower.
The room was very good for a stop over.nUnfortunately the room had not been cleaned properly. Had to go to reception for a vacuum cleaner to the carpet and hallway.nThe receptionist was very apologetic.
