Still a nice big beach which can accommodate lots of people but NO facilities left. The food shacks & bar, and even the toilets are gone. So make sure you at least take water with you. Does any one know if they are coming back?

Having attended many functions here I was very disappointed with a very sub standard meal. The meat was tough and cold, the roast potatoes were actually black cremated rather than just burnt. I asked the waitress for them to be replaced and was simply told that they were roast potatoes. Something was done as there was a distinct pause in the food service with the last 4 tables having to wait for their food. Out came the meal with still black burnt potatoes mixed with now under cooked potatoes. I find it incredulous that a professional chef would ever send out such garbage. Terrible experience.

What can we say,very happy would be a good start. Room with sea view is a must,and what a view it is too. Polite and attentive staff,door man is a gentleman. Recommend a seafood restaurant in Charleston (wreckers). Can’t get much fresher sea food. Oysters on my plate within a couple of hours from the sea. Spa is excellent infact the whole place is perfect to relax. We will be back.

Great location and pleasant buildings. We drove out of our way to visit this hotel’s restaurant for cream tea. We were given two of the flattest scones I have ever seen. At first we thought they had just been made and turned out like that by accident. In the end we left without eating or drinking. On the way out we saw a glass cover tray with load of the scones that were as thick as sliced bread. Best thing was taking a nice walk outside on the beach.
