Really super Easter Sunday lunch. Didn't manage to get into the restaurant and were advised to get early for one of the smaller bar tables.
We perched, sometimes precariously, but it was definitely worth it. The food was plentiful, tasty and piping hot with side orders of vegetables I really enjoyed. Children ate everything. Good stuff!

Nicely refurbished by St Austell brewery.
Much better layout, very delicious menu, I recommend the fish and chips, I even asked for and got bread and butter to make a chip butty..

A superb location with a truly epic view across the harbour. The fish and chips tasted just fine. Highly recommended.

Warm welcome Dinner excellent and bedroom very comfortable and modern. Great breakfast overlooking Charlestown harbour on a fantastic Cornish morning

on a Saturday morning, we,2 local people ask at the restaurant if it's possible to have breakfast; flatly refused because it was before 10 - despite there being only 6 people in the place already eating. The bookings list was right in front of me and there were only 3 rooms/tables unhighlighted - indicative that they were far from busy. The excuse was there was only one chef on- so I wonder...what happens If all residents arrive for breakfast at once-and what happens after 10?  No flexibilty  or pragmatism - in fact we were to feel unwelcome and a nuisance for daring to ask.  We went up to the Rashleigh Arms who were very accommodating and welcoming. Well done Rashleigh and their excellent staff. Are these places really part of the same brewery?
