This is a nice place for a meal or drinks with family and friends. It is smart, clean and well kept with flowers boxes outside. There are several areas - cosy restaurant, more formal restaurant and larger restaurant for larger parties etc. There's a bar with sofas to enjoy a casual drink. There is a large fenced in play area with a bouncy castle at the back and a marquee for events. You can also stay here, but I haven't enjoyed this service myself. The food here has always been of a good standard. I would recommend The Britannia Inn.

Very comfortable beds and lovely room. Staff are friendly and the food is brilliant. Some noise from the road, so if you're a light sleeper then bring earplugs. This is the only downside, although the quality of the food more than makes up for it!

Visited for a family birthday. Chose the carvery. Excellent value. The indicator for good carvery for me is how long the veg has been sitting. Veg was replenished at regular intervals so was fresh and hot rather than stale and stewed! Meat (beef in this case) tender and succulent. Will definitely return.

My girlfriend and I stayed here as the Britannia Inn is a very convenient location for visiting the Eden Project. We thought the Britannia Inn was fantastic. We had a very nice room, the staff were all friendly and the food is great too. We look forward to staying again. Highly recommended!

Fantastic food quality. The pork and Apple burger is up there with my favourite burgwrs. Staff were friendly too!
