Nice central location and directly linked to the Quayside car park on level 3 via a couple of steps, which they have a deal with the office on the ground floor level for, was £10 for 24hrs for me. Room I stayed in was a touch dated by Travelodge standards, but quieter than others. Nice views of the church lit up at night. Tap water didn't taste too great, though that could be the whole area. Staff were great.

Place are pretty like a maze you have to get to two lift to get your room and hallways are pretty tiny so watch out with big suitcases,Beds are comfortable and very good had nice sleep, Bathroom although need upgraded as soon as possible on 2nd Floor tiles was falling out. All room fine and comfortable as well Free fast WiFi that was extra plus.

I've stayed in Travelodge's before and I was surprized that that quality of this one was quite poor in comparison. This is an older Travelodge, the pictures don't seem to show the wear and tear in the actual rooms well, the hotel and rooms in general seem to need a refurbishment. I stayed in room 211, it had a broken window held together with packing tape and my camp bed (we had 3 people per room) was put beside it. Not sure how safe that was...I stayed as part of a tour group. They were unable to provide us with 3 separate keys, we were all strangers to each other, so coordination on people's different schedules was slightly stressful. The roomkey is attached to the plastic keycard which controls the lights and the power for the whole room. This means if you're out of your room, your stuff will not get charged while you're away - this can be problematic if you're out and about sightseeing and need to charge devices. The breakfast was basic with no hot foods provided, except a toaster which enabled you to toast your own bread. You weren't required to wash up your plates after eating breakfast.
