We had a lovely stay at Bishop's gate. Service was great and staff very helpful and friendly. Food was fantastic.  Rooms were slightly smaller than modern hotel but beautiful with large bathroom. Located very central but up steep hill if walking.  Definitely will return.

Just had an overnight stay with 3 friends and cannot speak highly enough of the staff at this hotel. Every single one of them are a Credit to the hotel. So friendly, polite and courteous and their service was exceptional. Hotel is very central and the food was fantastic too. Would definitely recommend this hotel and was worth every penny! Thank you for restoring my faith in the hospitality sector!

Location,rooms ,food and staff were unbelievable. Would like to give a big thankyou to Conan what a delightful young man and nothing was to much trouble for him. He most definitely has the personality for the hospitality work . Will be back again soon.

This is a great location inside city walls. Comfy beds, very clean, and lovely staff. We enjoyed our dinner in the lounge as well. Highly recommend.

I attended a family wedding this weekend at the hotel and booked a room. I was quite stressed on arrival as my husband had to be whisked away for wedding photos and I have a 4 month old. Jenny immediately assisted my father in law and myself with two children to check in.nnThroughout the stay the staff offered to go to the car which was parked by a valet service to retrieve items for the children. This was extremely helpful.nnThe wedding was very beautiful. The function room looked stunning. Food delicious and one course was even sent to my room while I fed the baby.nnA very professional, good quality hotel with staff who went above and beyond.
