The Bogside Bed and Breakfast was such a great place to stay the first time I returned a second. I am a student in Belfast visiting from Canada and found the B&B online and stayed there with a friend from Germany over St Patrick's day. It was clean and warm and set in the historic Bogside which was the site of most turmoil in Derry during the troubles. It was such a pleasure to stay there that it was the first place I called when I returned a month later with a visiting friend from Canada. The kitchen is well equipped and the flat has many amenities that make it feel comfortable and like home. It is easy to manage a budget since it is reasonably priced and is self catering with a grocery across the street. The view from the front door is of the city centre and the wall that the city is known for. Thanks again for a great stay!

The Bogside B&B was perfect. It was far enough out of the city that it was quite and peaceful but close enough to the city that you are never far away. I have paid for a twin room hotel room that had two beds and a bathroom for the same price as this place, which has everything that you will ever need. The owner is friendly and accommodating, which is a change from the usual hotel front desk workers. The place is clean and new, and I would say much better than a hotel. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a place to stay in Derry. Thank you Bogside for the perfect place to stay.

Amazing place to stay! very clean, warm and friendly! it was so close to the city centre but the price did not reflect this! excellent value for money, I felt that I robbed them. The owner has a wealth of knowledge about the city's history I could have spent my whole break listening to him, they also arranged for a tour of the local landmarks by an excellent guide.....an ex POW, so wasn't only facts we were informed of but how the troubles affected ordinary people of the town. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant and hassle free as possible. I wouldn't chose anywhere else to the next time I visit, an experience never to forget.

I stayed at the self catering House in Creggan. It was a bit up the Hill, but to get to the Centre didnt take a long way, and if you go up there make sure you go for some pints, then the way doesnt appear that long :-) Excellent and clean House, in a nice neigbourhood, with a fun Pub across the street. Great to chat with the Housekeeper, they are nice, and make you feel like a friend comes home.
