We had our wedding here at the Maldron Hotel on Saturday 4th of October.nIt was amazing from start to finish.nWe cannot give high enough praise to Chiree Bowen who organised the whole event.nEverything flowed from start to finish and all the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us and our wedding guests in any way they could.nThe food was also fantastic.nWe know many of our guests will be returning to the hotel again as we will too.nWe would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.nnPeter and Josie
Had a great stay. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the essentials. The location is unbeatable. Right near pubs, tasty restaurants, and must-see attractions. The staff were exceptional, going out of their way to fulfill every request with genuine warmth, which made the experience special. My only complaint is the lack of a thermostat in the rooms, which left things a tad stuffy at times. Despite this, the team’s efforts to ensure our comfort were top-notch. Would definitely recommend and return!
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Derry Maldron Hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had an issue with some usb ports in our room and Claire bent over backwards to resolve the problem quickly. Aisling in the restaurant and Noreen at reception were amazing and so kind and welcoming. We quite appreciated the full tub/shower in our room, as every other hotel we stayed at during our trip had small standup showers with 1/2 glass walls, so the bathroom floor would be soaked by the time we were done showering. One hotel’s bathroom door and trim boards were rotting due to water saturation from the shower. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. My one recommendation would be to refresh the caulking around the tub. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Derry.
Had a great night at the Maldron. Fabulous location, walking distance to pubs and shops. Staff at the reception are friendly and helpful. We were lucky to get parked in their car park. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was great, good variety at a reasonable price.
Quality hotel in excellent location close to many of the key sites in Derry. Exceptionally friendly staff, particularly the front desk staff who were incredibly helpful w/ local information, dining recommendations, and overall questions. Rooms are clean and tidy, oversized space and w/ large bathrooms. Limited parking on site, but viable options nearby.
