Room was clean. The passageways needed a vacuum. The hotel is very basic and needs updating. Still has keys for accessing rooms. It has parking and is behind a Harvester pub. Very close to shopping areas and takeaways. Staff were friendly.Rooms: 4/5
Good value for the money. Friendly staff. Not white cane accessible due to multiple doors. You are given a fob to get through the main door and a room key to get into the room could be simplified by only using either a physical key or a fob rather than both. Walkability: The paths outside need some attention. It is a trip hazard.
Room was nice standard travel lodge room service really good especially when we had issues with our room they swapped us which was really good. Location is unfortunate and can hear bass from the speakers that plays music in the reception area literally all night
Great service by the front office team. Sharon was helpful and gave all information. Another staff member helped me with my numerous bags. Family room was spacious, clean and had all amenities. Good location and close to supermarkets and places to eat.Rooms: 5/5
Stayed here numerous times. Same as any travelodge. Cheap at times if you book in advance. Always clean. Polite staff. Local amenities include restaurant/pub just 2 minutes away. Petrol garage and a few other stores.Rooms: 5/5
Check in was easy and the room was as expected: clean etc. However: * both plug chains were broken hand basin and bath * handbasin soap dispenser was empty * left hand bedside light was flickering * peeling wall paint on right hand side of table * wifi almost worse than useless
A pleasant place to put down your head for a night or two. Clean, simple decor, nothing fancy. Friendly and welcoming front desk staff. Right next to a Harvester for food or across the road to a lovely Pizza Express. Rooms: Clean but simple. Nearby activities: The joys of Basingstoke and in particular the retail park are on the doorstep Food & drinks: There is a vending machine in the reception lobby or a Shell garage across the road
Loveliest Lady on the front desk was absolutely amazing, i have a young baby and she was more than helpful by ensuring she was safe whilst i brought our stuff in, helping me with holding doors open any time she saw me, lovely manners and overall the service provided made my week! The room was spotless, and even though the hotel is near a main road you can barely hear the roads, only downfall was the construction happening along the main road but that is no fault of the hotel. The hotel is local to lots of different food places and easily accessible on foot.
