Story

Fernbank Hotel is situated in the Fairfields Conservation Area and is one of several notable buildings on Fairfields Road. We offer sixteen quality individual rooms on a bed and breakfast basis, all of which are en-suite. Some rooms retain some original features of the house, a large Victorian detached property, extended in the 1980’s.

All our rooms offer comfortable surroundings with colour TV’s, tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi. There is ample off-street parking at the end of a long driveway, behind the property.

The hotel is ideally located for the M3 and M4 motorways and A33 and A30 primary trunk roads, with the M3 being less than 5 minutes’ drive away. The town centre of Basingstoke is less than 0.5 miles directly north and is easily accessible on foot.

Basingstoke railway station provides several trains per hour direct service to London Waterloo and other direct and indirect routes to major towns and cities. Southampton and Heathrow airports are about 25 and 40 miles respectively and are no more than 45 minutes’ drive away.

In December 2013 the hotel changed ownership and we plan to carry out a full refurbishment.
