Great location, spent 4 nights here while doing a course at the Loddon School. Beefeater next door was quite handy for breakfast and dinner. Different activities surrounding he hotel for those who want to do something while staying there. Roo.s were nice, clean and comfortable, hardly any noise. Our third stay here. The greeting was friendly, but couldn’t obtain enough hangers for our clothes again on asking. No Fridge for my fresh milk or any drinks bought with us. Only one hand towel supplied and not a rail to hang it on near the sink either, so other than the bath it would be behind the door when opened. The mattress as promised on advertising was great……… THE WORST THING FOR ME WAS THE SOLID UNCOMFORTABLE PILLOWS! So not a great nights sleep, here for two more nights so will ask if they have any better. Overall although the bathroom a little small, clean, comfortable and a nice place to stay. Would still recommend.
Probably the best Premier Inn location for activities. They had an Odeon cinema, Hollywood Bowl good but it gets very very busy, you will need to book!, iFly, Aquadrome, Planet Ice, Buzz Bingo and a golf centre in walking distance around the Premier Inn. We visited the Milestone Museum which was at the end of the road, definitely worth a visit. This Premier Inn was great, breakfast was lovely as always. We had dinner in the restaurant attached and the manager was absolutely fantastic. Very charming! It was very busy in the evening, we had not booked a table but he managed to fit us in last minute. All staff were great here. Would recommend, although would suggest booking ASAP if you plan to eat here. We were lucky as they turned another family away after us.
This hotel was perfect! Location fab next to so many attraction points. Staff were excellent and hotel really clean. Room was nice too. I had a very comfortable stay I would definitely return.Rooms: 5/5
Nice hotel, nice staff. Stayed twice in a couple of weeks. Second room had a few small issues but on the whole both were fine. Car park has no lighting working for some reason, lots of lights there but none working so of course while we were there a van was broken into and the door pretty much ripped off. Hopefully someone is called to fix the lighting so it doesn't continue to happen.
Beefeater not so good Cooked breakfast no scrambled or poached eggs only over cooked fried eggs. Never anyone to show you seatingRooms: 4/5
Usual offering from premier Inn, but be warned there is no lift. Also it can be a long walk to your allocated room if you are at the car and from reception. Food & drinks: The food is served at the attached Beefeater which is definitely not the best. Service is slow and the food is mediocre at best. The breakfast was buffet style and luke warm at best, did not have time to try & get some fresh stuff. I will avoid the place in future.
Great stay and close to where we wanted to go. Clean and tidy. Didnt realise there was no lift so it was a struggle using stairs.Rooms: 5/5
A good and comfortable Premier Inn, although the paintwork in the corridors needs a refresh. The rooms are comfortable, the bathroom was clean and didn't smell. The rooms were quiet even though the hotel was either full or almost full. Staff were freindly and helpful. The only snag we had was that there were no mains power outlets next to the bed, only USB-A outlets; ok for charging phones, etc. but no good for a medical device! The Reception staff managed to locate an extension lead for us, otherwise we'd have needed to make a trip to the the DIY store. The Beefeater restaurant next door was excellent for our evening meal and breakfast. Rooms: Good rooms, comfortable and quiet. Most rooms only have USB-A outlets next to the beds - no mains power outlets next to the beds mains outlets are available near the TV.
Family of 3 stayed last night. Booked for evening meal, bed and breakfast. Only 1 set of towels in room, so had to go to Reception and ask for more. We were aware there was no actual ac but not that the windows only opened a little. We were on the first floor and it was incredibly hot even without a duvet or a sheet over us and the window open. Fan just moved warm air round. For breakfast one of us is vegetarian. Was offered veggie sausage and veggie bacon. Then told they had run out of veggie sausages. Offered a veggie burger. This came over fried and very greasy. Not all the cooked breakfast was hot. It must have been there for a while. Receptionist asked us how we had found the stay. Told her all the above and reply I got was that they are not allowed to have the windows opening very much due to health and safety! She said the food wasn't anything to do with her and suggested we just put a comment on here!
