Trafford Veterinary Centre is a privately owned practice based in Urmston. We have been established for over a decade, and care for domestic animals

Story

Trafford Veterinary Centre is a privately owned practice, caring for domestic pets such as dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs.
We have been well established for over a decade in Urmston, and offer consultations 7 days a week at selected times.
Trafford Vets has 3 part time Veterinary Surgeons employed here, as well as 2 Qualified Registered Nurses, 2 Student Nurses, 1 Auxillary Nurse and a Practice Administrator at present.
We are also a Veterinary Nursing training practice, and have various Student Nurses from colleges and universities training here throughout the year.
We pride ourselves on being a private practice that offer a friendly and professional service, offering in house blood services as well as general surgery and radiography.

I've been taking my pet here for 12 years. She's always well looked after Kate goes above and beyond each and every time. I wouldn't consider taking her anywhere else. We recently moved 25 miles away and I still travel to see the vets here.
Kate and the team at Trafford Vets are absolutely amazing. Having unfortunately now moved too far away to continue to bring my cats to them I can really see that what they do, the compassion they have for our pets and the empathy for us as owners, is all too rare
Our 3 year old dog Jarvis has been registered here since he was 8 weeks old. The kindest and most caring vets with a real passion for our animals welfare. We are lucky to have Trafford vets.
I took my two cats here for many years and was always so impressed by how well they and I! were looked after. When my cats were at their worst, I felt really anxious about making sure I was making the right choices for them, and Kate and her team were amazing at going over my options and helping me come to the best decisions for them. The team were always willing to take them in at short notice when needed and return calls when I had questions. My cats have sadly passed now, but Trafford Vets did everything they could to make that journey as kind as possible for both them and me. I highly recommend this vet practice.
In my opinion one of the best vets in Trafford if not Manchester. Just 0 complaints. Staff are so friendly and kind. We have never had to leave our dog there but if we did I would feel so comfortable doing so.
Couldn't be more caring, thanks to the vets Kate , Ruth , Pip and Mike who looked after our Mainecoon "Tattiana " and the nurses . Overall very professional and all though it wasn't the outcome we had hoped for I cannot fault the effort Trafford Veterinary Centre put in. Thanks to all involved. RIP " Tatty ".
I cannot recommend Kate and the team enough. Having been at another vets where we were just another number we transferred to Trafford Vets about 9 years ago. They have looked after our 2 dogs and cat. They offer a caring, personable and highly experienced veterinary service. Helen KB
My first visit to Trafford vets with my disabled Dachshund Luna. Luna is very nervous in vets and quite often makes a scene but the staff were all wonderful and my vet was very patient. I liked the fact that the vet we saw sorry forgot the name took her time talking about how best to help Luna. I was previously with a big veterinarian practice in Chorlton for the last 7 years and felt like we were always rushed through the door and there was a lack of advice given. My faith has now been restored in vets as it felt like the vet actually cared. I’d been recommended this vets by some of the hoomans of the dogs I walk and I can definitely see they were right with their recommendations. Very pleased and I’d recommend people using Trafford vets.
Such a good vets! Whenever I have had an issue with my dog they’ve been amazing. They are so understanding, caring & have reassured me whenever I have needed it. I couldn’t recommend a better vets. Thank you!
