Just had a great call with Rachel on Reception. She was so helpful and went to above and beyond to help me out. What a lovely person, great phone manner and a real asset to the practice. Thanks so much Rachel!
Very happy with the service my cats receive here! I've been visiting the clinic for five years and the staff are wonderful. Whenever my cats have been unwell I have always been able to get them the treatment they need quickly and I'm always informed of further tests/treatments that can be done if things don't improve. I get the impression that they care very much about the pets they treat and that they will try everything to get the best outcome. I feel reassured trusting them with my cats health as they have a great understanding of how to properly care for exotic/persian cats. Thank you so much for all of your hard work :
We can't rate Park Veterinary Clinic highly enough! After noticing this morning Saturday that our German Shepherd had ripped her fur off her tail and was gnawing at it and it was bleeding they booked us in immediately for an appointment. Emma the vet was so welcoming...caring and professional..in fact the whole team..from reception to clinical were amazing and kind. Even though they're incredibly busy they all make the effort to engage with you and put you at ease. We've been with this vets for the last three years and even though we've now moved away from the area..we still bring our dog there if there's a problem because they're simply brilliant. Thanks for all you do
Went to the practice with my new puppy and got offer a "puppy plan" for a year consisting on me paying £19 for my dog to be seen and checked by the nurse every month. The would give him tape worm tablets and check on his weight and stuff. He was seen for tge three first months and afterwards, they would just give me the tablets for 2 months and in the end, t I was given tablets for three months and no appointments to check on my dog. I consider this plan a total SCAM. Please, do not subscribe to this plan as you will end up paying £19 a month for absolutely nothing, not even the quickest check up. Scammers
The puppy deal for the first year is a total scam. I have been paying for months just for the nurse to weigh my dog once a month in the first 4 months and, afterwards, she gave me a box with some tapeworms tablets for the following months so she wouldn’t see him at all. I can buy those tablets on Amazon without having to pay to the vets £19 per month. They wouldn’t see my dog for months but still have to pay that fee. The biggest scam ever
This vets is like a horror story you hear about from a friend of a friend or in a newspaper. We took our Sadie here a couple of days ago as she had come up with some lumps on her tummy, she’d been off her food and quite tired. The vet said the lumps on her tummy was nothing, but she quickly jumped to the conclusion that Sadie had FIP, a deadly life threatening disease which typically means cats have days or a couple of weeks to live. She did tests which only showed Sadie was dehydrated, and didn’t confirm FIP. The vet strongly advised we send our Sadie to a hospital straight away for days which would’ve cost thousands and also advised FIP treatment was going to cost upwards of £3000. If not we would have to put her down. We were DISTRAUGHT but still brought Sadie home as we simply didn’t have thousands in our bank to pay it. However, when we brought Sadie home she returned to her full normal self after the vet gave pain meds and a fluid’s injection… we thought this was very strange as the vet had just convinced me Sadie was going to die. She even suggested Sadie would die that night if we didn’t take her to hospital. We did some Googling and FIP is quite rare and typically found in kittens.. Sadie’s 4. Sadie also didn’t have any of the main symptoms of FIP. She just had the symptoms of a fever. Therefore, yesterday we took her to a different vets. She literally just has an infection on her teets. That’s literally all. After this vet at Park vets convinced me Sadie was going to die and watched me cry my eyes out as she asked for thousands of pounds. The bumps the vet told me was nothing was the infection. It’s now the next day, Sadie is now eating and drinking again, climbing around and no longer has a temperature. She’s back to her full, happy , playful self. All she needed was antibiotics. I am honestly traumatised from this vets. This all literally happened my first time here. I urge anyone considering this vets to stay away and find another vets. Also, if you do come here and the vets give you the option of either spending thousands or killing your cat, and you know in your gut something isn’t right, I urge you to get a 2nd opinion.
Amazingly friendly bunch, very helpful, attentive and welcoming. Our dog loves his vets
I would like to thank you very much for curing my girl Neveja. After administering the drugs, her condition improved overnight. You are great ! The accuracy of the diagnosis is excellent. A wonderful approach to sick animals, you are understanding and work with great passion. These vets are a treasure. Thank you very much for Neveje and I recommend such care I will always come back to you when my dog feels bad. Regards, Aleksandra
It's my 4th visit at the clinic so far and I am really happy with the experience so far . The whole team is so kind and friendly that Trumpet doesn't seem to be worried about going to the vet anymore . I would really recommend.
After my dog Chillie spent the day at Park vets on a drip, she showed pain around her neck area soon after. It was where the drip had been administered. I called the practice to explain that she is cowering & whimpering when the area is touched and they advised me I’d have to pay to have this looked at. I’d already paid almost £400 for her treatment and wasn’t aware that there was a follow up appointment available. I had hoped it would subside but alas it didn’t. The least this practice could do is check the area over, would take all of 2 minutes. But to warrant another fee is in my opinion nothing short of greedy. Will not recommend this vet going forward. I’ve since been to Vets4pets in prestwich where they allow you in with your pet behind a Covid safe screen, much better than handing your pet over in the cold manner adopted here!
