My 11 year old JR Finn has received excellent care. 4 stars is only because we tend to see a different vet every time. I'm quite keen on continuity of care.
Absolutely amazing service. When I called to explain how poorly our little Harry was the young lady fitted me in in-between appointments. Martin the Vet was superb, he explained in great detail what the situation was and was very real, his advice and treatment SAVED OUR HARRY’S LIFE, we will be forever grateful for your time, advice, treatment and understanding, you helped us make the right decision, i can’t thank you enough. Within an hour Harry was fighting fit, 24 hours later he is back to his normal self. Bonny even took time out the next day to call and make sure everything was ok, excellent service all round from start to finish. We have been with Mount Rd Vets for years and would highly recommend. Thanks again, just brilliant xxx
Amazing friendly caring staff. Excellent service always provided. They explain everything they do. My beautiful little furbaby is a 7 year old grumpy cat but they always manage to put him at ease. I wouldn't take him anywhere else. Thank you all so much

Just want to thank the team at MR Vets for their excellent service! Our little Puggle was having some issues with her rear and the nurse and vet 2 seperate visits fixed it and gave her a clear bill of health, all for a very affordable price! Far better service and care than we've experienced traditionally using Vets for Pets, would highly recommend!
Called into the vets with my dog very worried I was welcomed with a smile. Didnt wait long and was brought through by the vet who straight away made me feel at ease and loose my fear. She handled my baby with care and treated her and fingers crossed it’s like a miracle has happened. Thank you so much highly recommend fantastic vets.
After following the advise the vet gave meticulously, I followed up with an appointment only to be given completely different information. The health of my pet is important and his surgery is now delayed while he may have to loose part of his eyelid at the least. Of course this not only costs extra money, but most importantly my dog has to suffer. Also, I was not given the opportunity to speak AT ALL since the vet didn’t allow me to- no way I would return my pet to such person. Additionally, the receptionist was very unprofessional.
Ive been with this vets for over 25 years. My little dog died there in December. So being told i had to take my other dog in to be examined before she could have her flea drops was something i couldnt face. My daughter offered to take her. She drove here for almost 45 mins to pick my dog up, then drove a further hour to the surgery. Arriving 5 mins late. The vet came into the reception area, and in front of a full waiting room, gave my daughter a showing down and was told he might fit her in at the end of surgery. Not being in the strongest of mental health, my daughter fled the surgery in tears. How can this be the way to treat people who have gone to so much trouble to get my dog there, for no good reason really, for her drops? I am absolutely disgusted and will be putting in a formal complaint. You just dont know what a person is going through in their lives, so everybody should be treated with respect. I could go on about how angry i am, but wont bore you further.
I have 4 cats and every time I take one of them I find the staff warm and welcoming and the vets always explain in easy language and give me informative advice about the treatment they offer I would highly recommend them.
We take our little sausage dog, Daphne, here and she loves it! All the vets and nurses are lovely. Daphne had to have a little operation a couple weeks ago and she was treated so well! She’s all healed again now causing mayhem. We wouldn’t go anywhere else
