Been there twice: to register intention of marriage and for the actual wedding. Also called a few times to set a few things. At times it might be impossible to reach them over the phone - you just have to try 5 min later and it is usually fine. When there, most of the staff was nice, polite and helpful, except for 1 person that filled the wedding registry... well do I need to say that on your wedding day you do not expect to be treated like a retarded person by someone that has zero people skill, zero patience, and does not articulate his questions correctly. Thankfully the mariage ceremony was handled by someone, much nicer and we had a great experience in the end. The location itself is cute and traditional, with nice spot for wedding pictures.

Turned up today (27/12) to register my father's death. Closed. Nothing on the office's web entry. Tried phoning the number. Doesn't even ring. Shocking. It seems people don't die at Christmas. Thanks Bow for making my grief even worse.

After reading the reviews on here and went to the registry office thinking that it was going to be a long and arduous afternoon. I found my experience to be be quite the opposite. I was served by a polite, professional and mostly, very calm (seems everyone was on lunch and she was manning the desk by herself) member of staff (rebecca). Dealing with all the requests (some of them were blurted out while she was dealing with other customers) quickly. When all the staff came back they all asked if anyone needed help and were very friendly. I was seen within 15 minutes of being there and was there for about 30 minutes total. I don't write reviews about anything, but thought that I should as reading some of them really put my back up before I got there. I was expecting the worst and it was far from.

Some of the stuff are so rube. One of the stuff doesnt know how is Bangladeshi passport. She's been saying she is working for 10 years but didnt see any Bangladeshi passport(MRP) like my one. What a shame. Unfortunately she is Bangladeshi Origine. She been arguin that you cant carry Passport and Arc Together. No knowledge at all.
