This is a lovely, friendly gym. The staff and the people who go there are really kind and welcoming. Photos etc are not allowed, so you can just exercise and not feel as though you might turn up on Youtube in your gymwear. :S
Very clean and variety of facilities. Changing rooms are spacious with sauna inside. Two floor gym with lots of equipment. Pool can get busy during certain hours but a good size. Hydro pool can be cold on occasions particularly on Sundays.
Recently rejoined after several years away due to back, hip and shoulder issues. Lots of new equipment and upgraded changing area, my induction with Dee was the best I've had, she really listened and understood my health issues, giving me a starting plan I can achieve and build on. I would highly recommend Dee.
To management: please make sure the hairdryers remain turned on until the close of business. It is not fair for customers to have to leave with their hair soaking wet in this weather. This is the second time I have had to ask for the hairdryers to be turned on; today, at around 6:35/6:40, they were already switched off.
I’m so sick of this gym, increasing its price every frickin year now £58, at this point no one will continue paying for this membership and ship off to JD gyms. This is pathetic. I’ve been paying for 4 years now and increased every year and the cost of inflation is high as it is but £58 for a gym that isn’t even 24 HOURS LOL
