Excellent gym. Fair pricing and very good equipment. The main floor is well spaced out with plenty of equipment, both cardio and weights, and it has enough to keep it usable even during busy periods.
Good for the price, new plates and clean equipment. Unfortunately it's just always too busy to reliably have access to free equipment, for example, there are only two Olympic lifting platforms in the side room, and as there are lots of personal trainers who make sure of this gym its usually the case that when I walk round even on off peak times, both platforms are taken by trainers and clients, and I have to settle for the one power rack if that is not taken, which, the flooring of is not flat so the barbell rolls. Aside from that, many clients have poor gym etiquette and plates are left in such random places if not left loaded onto the barbells. Would recommend if your workouts are dumbell based or you like classes as I've heard they are excellent, otherwise weigh up if the cost you save is worth waiting for equipment.
Weekend opening times are poor, as someone who works until 6pm achieving my fitness goals is going to prove impossible as I can't attend at all over the weekend. Looking to move gyms ASAP but stuck in a 12 month contract. I beg they change the opening times until 9pm close on the weekend but they probably won't
Not a bad gym, some equipment is lackingnumber of deadlift platforms, cable rows etc can be very busy so you need to choose your time wisely
Great friendly atmosphere. Good selection of aerobic machines as well as free weights. No waiting for a station...
Decent enough gym for the price. There's enough gym equipment to get to grips with a good work out. Evenings get pretty busy which I avoided during my time here. Staff seem friendly and helpful.
Great gym. Good range of euipment. Good value for money. Gym staff very friendly and supportive. Well recommend this gym.
Good gym, lack of parking spaces and waiting on equipment in peak periods. Early morning in the week and midday Saturday I found to be best times to go.
Fantastic gym. I use a few times a year when up in Chorley. Love the separate CrossFit/cross training area. Could make day passes easier to purchase on the site.
Outstanding value for money. I'd expected something quite small and limited for the price but the place is extensive and the range and number of exercise options equally extensive. I've always been put off joining a gym by the sometimes eye-watering fees but I'm more than happy to fork out the comparatively small cost here.
