Waste of time, wanted to know exact part numbers of some spares for my car but only got prices directly from them which are ofcourse £100 higher then equivalent quality parts elsewhere. Been told that they can't give part numbers to customers because " Renault asked them not to". Great, somehow BMW dealership can do that for their cars but Renault can't manage to.

I had a good experience purchasing a year old Kadjar a week or so ago. Zach was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain the intricacies of the vehicle.  Soon after a deal was done and hands shaken. As the vehicle had not been serviced as advertised he arranged, in writing a free service early next year.  I am happy to recommend Toomey Basildon and would buy from them again.

I attended this showroom together with my wife and son for an appointment that was scheduled for 1430hrs. When we arrived we were told to take a seat and wait for the chap we were supposed to see as he was with another client. We were told he would be with us "shortly" by a man we felt may have been the manager (he never introduced himself). We waited for what seemed like an eternity. One hour later we were at our wits end and my wife nudged me to ask if anyone else could help us. There were about 4 people hiding behind what seemed to be some reception desk and one of them muttered something about the man we were seeing to the effect "he has overbooked his appointments" and then he went over to two other members of staff who were loitering somewhere further up in the showroom. One of them came over to where we were and asked if he could help us. We informed him we had been waiting for more than an hour for an appointment we had booked earlier that day. He offered to show us the cars but admitted he did not know much about these cars as he had only "just started" with the company. He said this would give his colleague the time he needed to complete his busines with the other client. We could see the guy in question as he leisurely dealt with the other customer and completely ignored us. The guy showing us around felt quite bad about what was going on and kept offering to make us cups of coffee. Eventually after 1 and a half hours the guy eventually shows up but not before he had an animated chat with one elderly couple who had just come in. Then he asks "are you here to look at the Sandero?" Then we said we were but he said he had to finish with his customer and wanted us to wait another 20 minutes!!! He was quite lackadaisical and ambivalent about it all saying he could not leave his customer to prioritise us instead and perhaps we could come back if we wanted. I was livid by the time we left and we were running late to pick our daughter from nursery. Why all those people on the floor just left us to loitre was beyond me. We have since approached another dealer and got our car. Very poor customer service. Management should be ashamed of such appalling behaviour.
