I’ve been going to TK Maxx in Runcorn Shopping City for years now and there’s one member of staff who’s above and beyond… Jo Joanne. She’s basically the beating heart of the place. I don’t think she ever stops. She’s either in the back shifting stock, on the till firing customers through quicker than a dodgy cash-and-carry, or shuffling shelves until they look like an army parade ground.nnShe’s a proper workaholic. I’m convinced if you opened the shop at midnight, you’d find her still there straightening coat hangers. She’s the retail version of those people in history books who seemed to do everything. Napoleon covered half of Europe, Churchill didn’t sleep for days, Joanne runs TK Maxx.nnEvery time I see her I end up having a chat. Doesn’t matter if the shop’s rammed, she’ll still manage a quick word while juggling ten other things. There’s no fuss, no drama, just pure graft and a sense of humour that makes buying discounted socks a top-tier experience.nnSo, yup… TK Maxx at Shopping City: bargains, absolute chaos in the rails, but most importantly, it’s got Jo. Someone needs to put her on a postage stamp.
I absolutely love visiting this TK Maxx store, you never know what you will find inside. This TK Maxx store is based on a retail park so there are plenty of parking spaces including disabled parking right outside of the store.nnThe store is quite large and split into many different sections from clothing, kids, shoes, beauty to arts and craft. There is something for everyone in this store.nnEverything in the store is individually priced and is a complete mixed bag. Items change around in the store very often and you might never see the same item twice. After some time the items are marked down with a red label as its final sale price.nnThey offer a large selection of clothing items that are cheaper than retail prices. There is a fitting room located at the back of the store that are very clean and available to all customers.nnTK Maxx also offers a rewards card that you scan with every purchase to collect points and eventually gain rewards.
Always Joanne has time for a quick chat while doing her job she is amazing but in general all staff In Runcorn have a great customer services all of them .
Staff were very helpful and polite. It’s so nice to get a please and thank you so many other retailers have forgot their manners. Thank you we will be back
