Too many cheap and affordable finds. I got nice perfumes and toiletries for less cost. If only my baggage limit would allow I would have bought more.
Love this place….but it has to be in the quieter morning hours, so you can really enjoy the experience of looking around and finding some very interesting and good stuff.nThis particular one is massive and definitely worth a visit.
Don't waste time at new Marble Arch Oxford Street shop, THIS shop is the better one, better stock, FULL range and better organised.nnIt is Oxford Street though so don't expect staff to have all the time in the world to answer a billion questions as this store is ALWAYS BIZ-AY... Maxx on Day Two of my First Trip to London!nnFound a pair of Perfectly Fitting, Great Quality & Best Value Timberland Boots!!nElated!!nnThought it sounded like T.J. I visited the store on 20 November shortly after 9pm. It wasn’t busy, so I decided to browse the men’s sportswear section on the 4th floor. I used to work on Oxford Street, so I understand how long and stressful the days can be, but the behaviour I experienced was simply poor manners.nnWhile I was looking through bottoms in my size, a male member of staff was hovering around another customer nearby. A moment later he came over to my rail, noticed a pair not sitting properly on the hanger, and without saying a single word he pushed the entire row of trousers towards me, closing the gap I’d created. No acknowledgement, nothing.nnHe then continued to fix each pair on the rail right next to me, fully aware I was still browsing. When I finished with the pair I had in my hand, I placed it back in the same manner he had. He turned to me and said, “I’m working here.”nnI replied, “Shall I wait until you finish then?”nHe said, “No, you can go and search there,” pointing me to another rail.nnI left in disbelief as it genuinely took me by surprise — I honestly don’t think I’ve ever experienced this kind of treatment from anyone, let alone a member of staff while shopping.nnThis isn’t about expecting luxury service. It’s about basic courtesy. There was no service offered at all — just rudeness. Tidying the shop floor is a task; customer service is the job. And on this visit, the latter was completely absent.
