Really cool store to check out. Lots of sweet treats to drool over. They do custom tea blending and have an amazing selection of coffees to choose from as well. We were there pretty early so we didn't sample any of the sweets; but everything looked incredible.
A refined and beautifully presented store with much to explore. It was fairly busy during my visit, though not overwhelming — certainly not as hectic as an open run. The shop spans several floors. I didn’t manage to see everything, but picked up the Royal Blend and Earl Grey teas, along with some cookies as gifts. Everything was well packaged and felt special. A great stop if you’re looking for classic British treats in an elegant setting.
I wouldn't normally like these types of department stores, but this one was actually laid out very nicely. It was very full of tourists when we visited it, but surprisingly, the cashiers were efficient and the queue of people moved incredibly quickly! Our family bought some of the afternoon-style teas in nicely designed tins, which were slightly expensive but we thought the tin itself was worthwhile and a good keepsake. We were able to sample some of the teas there in-store and noticed the quality was very good - they were noticeably more fragrant than typical teas we would have elsewhere. Hence, the teas seem worth the money. The staff are very professional, welcoming, and in nice traditional outfits. It is worth a visit, even if you don't buy anything - it is a fairly legendary and long-standing store!
What an incredible experience!! It is absolutely bustling no matter what time you go! There's a beautiful afternoon tea section place on the 4th floor and on the 1st floor there's ice cream and cafe style seating area where you can also order the scones. The kids absolutely loved the experience at level 1 even though we didn't manage to try the afternoon tea because we didn't make a booking. Would so recommend making a booking!
Such an elegant and classy place! I really enjoyed shopping here — everything was beautifully presented and of the highest quality. I also had afternoon tea, and it was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere, the service, and the attention to detail made it a truly special experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a refined London treat!
