This shopping center is famous for the great displays that they make, and when i visited in November and December, it was a disney christmas theme and so beautifully executed. Inside, you can find a lot, from clothes to home stuff. Very nice place that tips more towards the more highly prices items and brands.
Selfridges’ window displays have always been a visual treat, and their Christmas displays are especially impressive. This year, they’ve partnered with Disney—more precisely, Disney is sponsoring all the holiday window displays, as well as some interior décor, including the iconic Christmas Shop.nnAs my daughter and I walked past Selfridges, we couldn’t help but stop and take photos of every window. She asked, “What’s the connection between Disney and Selfridges that makes this partnership make sense?” A good question.nnFor starters, Selfridges would be investing in elaborate Christmas displays regardless. And Disney, with its beloved characters and family-friendly films, is already a major part of the holiday entertainment landscape. But there’s more: earned media.nnWithout this partnership, most people wouldn’t visit a Disney store or theme park just to take photos and share them online. But now, thanks to Selfridges’ prime location and footfall, Disney is receiving a flood of organic social media exposure—mine included.nnFrom a marketing perspective, this is a brilliant collaboration. Selfridges benefits from eye-catching displays and likely savings on decoration costs. Disney gains massive brand visibility and indirect promotion for its content and platforms like Disney+.nnA smart, win-win partnership that makes the season a little more magical for everyone.
I highly recommend the walking tour from Baker Street down to Selfridges, it’s a great way to see the city before diving into some world-class shopping. The store itself is a fantastic consortium of premium brands across every segment you can imagine, from clothes and accessories to a massive shoe and perfume selection.nThe Foodhall is an absolute highlight. I tried the Rose Pistachio cake from EL&N, which was extraordinary. I also had a Chocolate Hazelnut milkshake at Lola’s Cupcakes, it was my first time seeing a cake blended directly into a shake! Such an indigenous and creative concept; it’s a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Visited Selfridges in London and had a great experience. The store is huge with an amazing variety of brands and products all in one place. The layout is beautiful and the atmosphere feels very lively and luxurious. I enjoyed walking through the different sections, exploring fashion, accessories, and food options. It’s definitely one of the best shopping destinations in London and a great place to visit even if you just want to look around and enjoy the experience.
I must say this is the best mall in London. From the moment I walk into Selfridges, I feel good. The mall offers a variety of activities mostly focusing on shopping. It also has great food options as well as casual pop-ups. The best time to visit Selfridges is without a doubt the new year season. Highly recommend visiting Selfridges if you come to London.
