It occurred to me when I popped in here that I rarely visit this store given so many competing options available.nnHowever, I needed to do a recce, so I visited on a Sunday, 45 minutes before closing time. I returned the morning after once I'd made my decision.nnLuckily, I was served by the same team member who immediately recalled my enquiry. Within moments, we had completed the sales process.nnWhat stood out to me was how calming it was to shop in this store - a Monday morning.nNote to self: visit during quiet times! nnOne tip I got from the team member was the importance of electronic equipment protection in the event of damage. We had an amazing customer service experience with Laleh — she was absolutely incredible.nShe took her time with us, was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about helping us find the perfect fragrances. Her suggestions were spot on, and you could tell she really knows her stuff. It was honestly one of the best customer service experiences we’ve had — a true 10/10. We’ll definitely be returning because of her!
Good shopping experience but can get quite crowded. Bathroom queues can be long especially weekend. Also accessible bathroom available to use if you have radar key.
The John Lewis experience!nnAbsolutely amazing customer centricitynnUpon your entry, you are greeted by lovely Nicola. All she wants is to welcome you and make sure you find your way with ease!nn1. Nadia from the Optician department on floor 5 : I walked in hoping to fix my TOM Ford sunglasses. The glass had feel out of the frame from a sudden drop! Nadia worked her magic just in few mins and fixed it! She also made sure it was nicely cleaned before handing it over! Well, former part of the story was that I was sent to her from the atom ford section downstairs! Looks like they knew she has a spell with things! THANK YOU Nadia! You are a star!!!nn2. Brooke from Laura Mercier : It was on my list for a long time to check the popular Laura mercier highlight and Brooke who was about to go home after her shift when I just entered attended me. I only learnt when I asked her what timings she worked incase I’d like to drop again! When I asked her why she waited, she could have had her colleagues I attend me, she said she enquired with me and I think it’s rude to turn you away! That’s dedication at another level! She is n expert and knows her business quite well! She is quiet patient, answering all your question and will leave when you are satisfied! Also, she wasn’t selling which is something I really appreciated! That’s the attitude that will make you buy. THANK YOU Brooke, you stood well for both brands - John Lewis and Laura Mercier!nn3. Returns : A gorgeous Barbour Baker Boy Hat that I was gutted the size dint fit me, being over 30 days from purchase date, return was a breeze ! Shout out to the contact centre who understood my reason for delay and were considerate. They ensure that the internal systems reflected my reasons and I dint have to explain myself over at the store!nnAfter a long day at work, when things are sorted with such ease is when Loyalty is engraved!nnThanks John Lewis and the managers of these amazing stars just realised all were women for such a blissful experience! Keep doing the good work!
John Lewis at Oxford Circus is a fantastic department store in London. Seriously, they have everything! Clothes, stuff for your house, electronics – you name it. The selection is huge and there's tons of variety. Plus, the staff are super friendly and really go out of their way to be helpful. Honestly, they're just lovely. And the stuff they sell is good quality and worth the price.
