Lovely holiday bungalow, well equipped and one of the best I've stayed in. Close to the beach and funfairs/amusements and a big Asda a short drive away is useful too.

In January 2015 I booked a holiday through Hoseasons for August this year and paid a minimum deposit. Unfortunately due to family and exceptional circumstances, I had to cancel the holiday and was then advised that I had to pay a full deposit of over £200.00. I received an invoice for this last week to pay. I have today received a letter from Hoseasons to say that unless they receive payment within 14 days then enforcement proceedings are being issued against me for recovery of the deposit. I find this most upsetting in view of the circumstances that I had to cancel the holiday. Another issue is that the length of time receiving the invoice for payment and then a threatening letter. I am disgusted how this has been dealt with and therefore I will not be considering booking any future holidays through Hoseasons in view of this. I will also be advising the owner of the property which I booked on how they are approaching potential customers. I am sure that they are not dealing with this as a service to the owners but as a money grabbing exercise against the unfortunate customers who have to cancel holidays due to exceptional circumstances. I also bet that the deposit which I have to pay will go down as an administration charge to the owners for their services and the owners will not see a penny of this.
