Will not be coming back. Booked a gold 2+ with a disabled child and was promised decking to the front. Got there and the caravan didn't have it... So off I went to the reception and sat arguing with the guy for 10 minutes about the decking...also showing him the email that stated the caravan had decking Eventually got upgraded but wasn't a great start. 2 hours after we arrived we finally got into the caravan Clean on first glance but on mooching around Brown marks on the sheets/dirty Bin in bathroom. The complex....poor, no shop, takeaway has to be the filthiest I have EVER seen in my life, overcooked fish, burnt pizza and rank grease dripping burger... Park ok....but not enough parents watching their children, my daughter was hit several times and bitten by other children. Cafe nice Ice cream lovely. Swimming pool like other reviews, life guards turn a blind eye, to many inflatables to be able to enjoy swimming, mid swim having balls hit your head or swimming into a lilo... Swimming pool has cracked tiles....it was meant to have been upgraded not so long ago? The entertainment was OK.. The bar was reasonably priced for drinks etc. Cars parked all over the park due to lack of parking... I was not impressed when house keeping turned up 6 minutes before we were due to leave and stood their watching us while we packed up the caravan/car.
The holiday park was clean an tidy. The Caravan was very clean and tidy. Everything close enough to walk too. The staff and entertainment were amazing considering what they had to put up with from some of the guests! I spoke to an owner who was considering moving her van. She obviously wasn't happy. A fight broke out an was dealt with quickly.The toilets in the entrainment were cleaned a lot in one night because of some not respecting them. I applaud the staff. They have a hard job putting up with that. Unfortunately I won't return. Not because of the staff or the site. Because of guests.
Nothing here for kids small park, small swimming pool that you have to book 1 hour slots. Evening entertainment is not the best and repetitive. We've been here a week not seen a charachter as advertised. Nothing to do all day. I definitely do not recommend a family holiday here. Especially for the price they charge. Entertainment passes are not worth purchasing if you are staying in a private caravan. I recommend if you are bringing small children bring their favourite toys, scooters bikes balls as you have to make your own fun here. Arcade is small. Majority of the machines are out of order. Rhyl is only 5 minute drive though for the front and the beach. Shop off site not too far but no shops on site. Little dated not very clean over priced chippy on site. Good sports bar pool table in there £5 deposit for the ques that are already broke tips vibrating when you hit the ball table leans ‍ marine park charges the same price as a week with haven..... never again would I not book a haven holiday. And they charge £50 to park you car near your caravan
Had an amazing time. The site is small but amazing. The people you meet make your holiday and what you make of it. The staff where friendly, polite and caravan was spotless on arrival. Had an incident whilst there and staff where amazing I’ve been home 5 days and I’ve booked to go back next week. It’s far from everywhere but if your on a budget it’s ideal. Love the site love the staff. Would recommend highly it’s not the ritz it’s not in the thick of it but it’s a lovely site
Small but nice area. Caravan was nice, maybe needed updating a bit. The swimming pool was an adequate size to have fun in but a severe lack of changing rooms was a huge downside. Would stay again but atleast we know what to expect. Can't comment on other facilities as didn't use them.
Nice caravan park clean and tidy staff very helpful. Bar cafe swimming pool children's play area. First time here and was enjoying the experience. Don't book off peak nothing open except the pool .disappointed. the bar is only open in the evening also .
Never again. We stayed here for a week in August and was bad from start to finish. Got to our caravan and wasn't what we had booked, should have had a 6 sleeper with en suite and extra toilet, told it would have a bath and looked really roomy. Got there and was a 4 sleeper with one bathroom really small area for lounge and kitchen and no bath. We went to complain straight away and had the woman on reception say we must have looked at the wrong photos, no i didn't and we would have paid extra for a bigger van also that she puts the photos on and they hadn't been changed for a year. I always check to see what we are booking and was quite angry that she put the blame on us, they had no other vans available and she said as far as they are concerned we got what we booked. Thankfully went out everyday so only had to sleep in it. The site is clean and can't fault that, the cafe is nice as is the burger bar and pool, Life guards were stood waiting for us to leave after we had a shower after swimming and was told people don't usually shower after and they were stood watching us waiting to lock up and go home.The main thing is night time, other guests so noisy and have kids out all hours just so they can have a drink in the bar, they leave kids on the park alone and it's definitely not good for younger kids as the others just run around kicking balls and running over the roof of the huts. Had to call security out at 1oclock in the morning after the third night of teens lying on the grass next to our van shouting and swearing with no thought of other guests, had two young kids in bed and he said he had moved them on the night before, he was very quick at turning up though. The morning we were leaving there was a woman screaming at another child and then at her family when they questioned her, all in the children's play area. Could not wait to leave, seriously save your money and go somewhere else.
Worse holiday experience I ever had. We reserved a platinum Caravan. When we arrived at the reception, we were told that the caravan wasn't ready because the carpet needed to be washed, and that they only had gold caravans, which didn't meet our expectations. I spoke with the manager, who told me that as soon as our caravan was clean and ready, she would notify us, but I never heard anything back. When I complained, she responded, "You're so lucky we had this Caravan ready or we would have had to cancel your booking!" There were no toiletries on the caravan as stated in the description when we booked it took 24 hours and a few phone calls just to take soap !! Cleaning it’s obvious in the photos as well!!!I was extremely disappointed and would not recommend it.
We stopped here a couple of months ago I thought the park was kept tidy and staff was helpfull but very over crowded and parking was a nightmare. Bed was uncomfortable but no where is ever as good as your own bed. Swimming was booked slots so only went once, the life guard spent more time talking and could do with more changing rooms. Other than that the kids loved it we had a great time. No shop on site but that's not a issue as there are shops only a small walk. If we come back to rhyl we would look at booking again.
Superb place for the family, staff are very welcoming and friendly, anything you need is not a problem, good entertainment basically a brilliant place to enjoy relax for all the family Playground: Excellent clean safe environment
