Lovely staff and great food. You need to be able to dislocate your jaw to get it around the burger, but, it’s very tasty. The beef bourguignon was amazing. King prawn & scallop and Camembert starters were superb. Well worth a visit!
Have been semi-regular here since it was the run by friends back when it was called the old barn farm. The food has always been great but we decided to try our first Christmas dinner out as a family. They accommodated 11 of us and all the food was better than expected with nice portions, bigger than they look, were made to feel very welcome by happy, helpful staff and not a miserable face in sight. Thanks so much to everyone at TTLC for making it such a great day. Maybe see you next Christmas!!
Gorgeous country pub, welcoming, lovely decor, clean & pleasant. Hubbie had a steak and chips, I had a starter of creamy mushrooms on sourdough. Tasty and delicious! Dogs welcome too. Perfect!
Great dog friendly pub, went for a family meal with 3 dogs and had a really good meal. Rib eye steak was perfectly cooked and everyone enjoyed there meals. I was told That the banoffee pie was amazing. Very reasonably priced and the beer was good too. Definitely worth popping in for a meal and drink with a four legged friend.
A very nice pub with a lovely atmosphere. Very popular, particularly with dog owners. Good food, too. They do a lovely Sunday roast.
It was a very good lunchtime menu the food was excellent and great value thank you. Drinks were well priced in the current market and a good selection. Being dog friendly is a bonus as far as we are concerned. One small complaint smoking area at the front of house outside needed clearing as very unsightly.
Lovely lunch today. Chicken curry followed by mini pudding was great value. Service was friendly and efficient. Anna is an extremely helpful waitress who greats everyone with a friendly smile and remembers you and your order from previous visits-which is amazing!
Visiting area for first time in a cycling weekend. Venue was very nice. As too the Interior. Welcome from staff was good and used app to order food and drinks. Both arrives promptly. Starters and mains were good. Fishcakes, lasagna and hunters chicken. Would have appreciated more chips/fries. Decided to order pudding separately, these were a let down and if it wasn't so late, I would have asked for a refund/money off. Crumbles were cold and the custard was stodgy. Ice-cream was a shameful portion size 2 pence live diameter!!
It was our second visit to this pub and I’m afraid it will be the last one. We have ordered a soup of the day and tomato arancini for starters. It was a cauliflower soup with no significant taste. The only plus was that it was hot and it came with a slice of bread. The other starter was arancini balls. I was really surprised when it was served: two little balls the last time I ate there they served 3, which is still expansive for what it is … for £7,25. Total rip off. A joke. For the main course we have ordered lentil lasagne. We left most of it as it was sweet! The decor inside was nice but it was really cold and we had to put the jackets on after 10 minutes. Overall disappointed.
Fantastic lunch time meal with attentive James our personal waiter. Lovely surroundings food and drink.
