The young girl at the bar was really polite and helpful. I saw her clearing tables after customers left and she really cleaned them properly.nThe food was the best I'd had in any pub and my friends agreed.nIt was lovely to discover a good old fashioned pub, where all are welcome. eg darts, board games evening, veteran's breakfast etc...nGreat pub. I will be back often. Well done!
Fantastic service. Great atmosphere. Bar staff are brilliant. Superb selection of ales. Food is top quality. Nice big menu too! Will definitely visit again when in the area!
Average experience in this pub. Food was reasonably priced and served hot. But the pub was very quiet, and the ambience was subdued, so we didn't hang around after we'd eaten. Some desserts were not available at 7.30pm on Sat night, which was not expected for a large chain
16 of us recently visited on a Friday evening for our post Christmas meal.nWhat can I say? The food was tasty, hot and well presented, the service was impeccable, the staff and hosts were friendly and efficient with all our meals arriving promptly.nWe would not hesitate in booking again, we are lucky to have such a great place on our doorstep.
The staff were amazing and made us feel special. The food was lovely, both for myself as a vegan and for my boyfriend as a Flexitarian.nnThe pub was warm and the music level was good for talking. The pub was clean.nnFeedback, a few more cauliflower wings would have been nice on the salad and more than one scoup of vegan vanilla ice cream would help balance the lovely richness of the torte.
