Lovely pub, great beer garden. Plenty of space and seating accommodation and canope cover. Ordered some nice food from here. The staff were also friendly and welcoming. Would give a 5 star but unfortunately they forgot/ got confused with the order so had to wait 10-15 mins for one meal. They also said they didn't have 1 item from the menu before serving it to us, which was confusing. Overall lovely pub, nice food and good experience.
I really like this place. The food that we had was delicious - very tasty! The menu has a good range of choices, from light snacks to larger meals. I noticed that with some of the smaller snacks it's possible to order a small portion of chips or a side salad, at only £1 extra for each. This seems a good way to bulk-up the meal depending on how hungry you are. The staff are very friendly, and polite, and the general atmosphere is welcoming. I will definitely be going back.
Went for the Sunday roast, not too busy, food was lovely. Has a friendly atmosphere, lots of parking too. Child friendly with high chairs available
We had a lovely dinner and time last night. Forgot to take pictures of dinner but here are some desserts. We got the sticky toffee pudding and a brownie
Very nice lunch for six, with plenty of choice. Staff were super helpful towards one member of our party with mobility issues. The pub itself is a lovely old building but not 100% disabled access friendly, however every effort was made to accommodate us. Very tasty food, good portions and friendly waiting staff.
Went in for a drink and small bite with my husband and two children. We happily received and sat in the back room. Had some bruschetta that was fantastic. Great children’s menu, cozy decor and feel to the pub. Welcoming, friendly staff. Will definitely be back again.
Lovely ambience, seems vegan friendly on the menu but not best executed. Ordered the vegan burger and it came with the side salad covered in a non vegan dressing. The vegan burger was hard like a dry old piece of cardboard, perhaps its been in the freezer for a really long time and just lost a lot of its water content? Not sure why it was like that but it wasn't good. It got pretty busy so didn't bother asking the staff for a replacement but it wasn't a cheap burger at around £15.
We dropped in here today on a good Friday walk with friends and dogs. We thought it would be nice to sit in the garden with the sun and have a bit to eat and a drink. We were not disappointed, very good service and nice food slightly more expensive than I thought if would be but not too bad, would I go again? Yes, I probably would it was nice and relaxed.
Great looking pub/restaurant. Staff with a sense of humour, food that's tasty and filling. Took friends for dinner on a Saturday night, nothing was too much trouble for the servers and nothing was rushed Would recommend and we'll return
Called in on the off chance. Nice old pub with a good selection of food and drink. Very welcoming. Many dogs but all well behaved. Would definitely go back again
