Nice pub with good food and drinks. Good COVID-19 protocols in place. Had a ploughman’s lunch which was great. Good wifi in the restaurant. Oddly, there were a lot of dogs in the pub, but with the social distancing didn’t bother anyone.
Food good value and well cooked. Drinks prices a little high. Good efforts at keeping areas as covid safe as possible. The only negative was that in allowing dogs in it is a shame that some owners feel the need to have their dog on their lap at table height rather than below the table sitting or lying on the floor.
Popped in on the off chance and had a delicious meal. Fishcakes & fish pie were lovely and the staff were incredibly friendly. Would definitely recommend. Bonus for being doggy friendly too!
Great food and beer in a real Cornish pub. The food was great mixed grill had loads of food! and came pretty quickly. Friendly staff and were even joined by a tribe of local fishermen having a sing-song along with plenty of ale as it was Saturday night haha. Dog friendly and a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

Quaint little bar with really lovely, home cooked food with proper portions. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming.
Fantastic food, great service at speed, and a very good price considering that it's in the heart of St. Ives. Also a very comfy, cozy place to relax.
