Friendly staff and  peaceful surroundings,  a nice change from corporate chain hotels.  Good breakfast

Stayed here whilst working in the Manchester/Oldham area. Incredibly friendly owners, excellent service. Comfy beds, spotlessly clean and incredibly quiet location. It was awful weather when I stayed, but the garden does look delightful, even if I did only see it from inside. 

Highly recommended - ensuite rooms, none of that awful tip-toeing across the family landing that is so common in many other British B&Bs.

Half the price of a Travelodge and easily ten times as clean & friendly.
