A lovely place to stay nothing too much trouble for Stuart the owner/chef bless him. Made to feel very welcome. Room comfy very clean. Very good value. Good parking by side of hotel private car park.

I am disgusted in the way this hotel's staff conduct themselves. As a global traveler I have never dealt with such ignorance in my life. My partner called this hotel earlier today to attempt to make a reservation (as the hotel lacks an online presence) and the staff were incredibly rude to her claiming the price (in response to enquiry) was outside of our price range. Yesterday we were in Paris and 4 days ago in Málaga. I'm sure we can 'splash the cash' for this rundown motel. Avoid this hotel!!!

Spent the night here following a night out. Our room was great. Very tidy and clean. We were offered a breakfast the following morning which was delicious. All in all, highly recommended. We felt very welcome and the owner was really friendly.

Very welcoming, absolutely spotless. Great rooms and excellent breakfasts with plenty of choice. It's in an ideal central location close to all amenities. With bus stops close by. Highly recommended.

I personally had a terrible night sleeping in the room that I was given due to the room being on the ground floor and the sound proofing being sub-par (You will be able to hear people talking in the hallways and people switching on their taps). The hotel is situated next to a busy road with large trucks frequenting a nearby warehouse and I had a faulty door which added to the noise. I have to commend the owner for calling me a few days after and apologising for my experience (not many hotels do that nowadays). He also explained that there is a note telling potential guests to request a quiet room, which I missed on the booking website (maybe put the disclaimer in capitals?). Apart from the sound proofing, the room was nicely furnished, clean and the service was good. The central heating would only switch on in the morning though, which isn't very convenient.
