Amazing views make the journey up the hill to the Thorn Tree worth it. Surprisingly small but beautiful interior, and the outside seating is perfect to take in the view. It is currently a Greeneking pub and while they have several guests on, the real ale choice is .... a bit regional. External pristine quaint toilets.
My favourite pub in Derbyshire..Had a lunchtime snack ,and it tasted magic..might be back tomorrow..

Great drinks,great food, great service and great views!
This place has a stunning view and great setting. The bar staff were friendly but unfortunately the locals were extremely rude and unwelcoming which completely took away from the experience. I would recommend either going as a group or during the day when there is a lumchtime buzz. NOT in the evening
Big portions, good price and really nice food! Need to check the times though as they stop serving pies at 7 or something? Also had a wedding on one time so maybe ring beforehand.
Excellent beer and service xxx
