Located in the middle of Matlock, great value for money,. Good selection of food & beer & handy for the shops.
Very efficient staff who were managing to keep the pub clear of debris even though it was so busy when we visited. Still not hurried in any way. Well done to all the staff.
It was a busy Sunday lunchtime for our visit but still service was swift and polite. Had pint and pizza. Food was hot and fresh, pint cool and hit to spot. All for less than a tenner. Enough change for another pint.
The Crown can get very busy due to its popularity. Don't let this put you off. The staff are very efficient serving and delivering food. The food is well presented and well priced. The choice of drinks available is good and beers are well kept.
Nice quick food to order. Budget prices can't beat wetherspoon for price. Great craft ale and lagers on tap
Great place for pub grub and Brilliant variety of drinks at very competitive prices! Also Great Staff here!
this pub is closed due to damage from the floods a while ago and the locals are saying it may not reopen
