We have the room on the top floor, and every stair is worth the breathtaking view from our window. Lovely soft bed, well appointed room with en-suite bath facilities, genial host with great dinner recommendations. This is a lovely town to boot. Wished we had stayed here longer!
Thornloe Guest House is in a lovely setting on a hillside overlooking Oban Bay. It's s lovely friendly place with a warm atmosphere, spotlessly clean and a great place to stay to explore the area. A lovely cooked breakfast to set you up for the day, also. I thoroughly recommend and will stay again in the future
Its absolutely perfect. I shall say the cleanness was 100%. The location stunning incline and you be able to walk up. The staff perfect friendly helpful. You have opportunity to sit on decking and enjoy the view if weather permitted whoever you can use fabulous conservatory on rainy days.breakfat if good choice and catering for all you have vegetarian options as well.located in quite place and you will get very beautiful view if book the room in front.
Fantastic! My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Scotland & England. This was 1 of 2 of the best places we stayed during our 3 week visit. My wife is a geologist and the lady of the house Valerie & she bonded over talking about rocks. Mrs. Valerie was the quintessential hostess and breakfast was always perfect. We hope to return one day and stay again.
Had the whole house with my family. Plenty of space and well equipped. Pity about the weather but even in torrential rain the views from the house are breathtakingRooms: 5/5
