I walked into the show room this afternoon. I was completely ignored. One staff member playing on his phone didn't even acknowledged me then the other just playing with his computer didn't even look up at me. I was there 10 minutes. It was 4.10pm and was not busy. They looked like they had hit there target for the month and couldn't be bothered doing any work. Such a bad experience.

Have used the garage many times, purchased a few cars, used the parts desk and have taken several cars in to be serviced / looked at. Last car we purchased, the DAB wasn't working (thought it had no signal at the time of purchase, DAB wasn't very widespread at the time so wasn't sure of its availability) the moment we put some diesel in, the car was un-drivable. Ford insisted it required a software update despite it being obviously a fuel filter issue as we left the forecourt with about 2 miles of fuel left in the tank (diesels have much finer filters and do not like running out as the filters get clogged with mess at the bottom of the tank, or so I'm told. (miracle we even made it to a station, no complimentary fuel, but that's nitpicking) We knew the software update wasn't to blame but had to play their game and take the car away anyway as they insisted it would be fine now. Sure enough the car misbehaved again and could have caused an accident with it suddenly losing power and jolting around on the motorway! Took it back, this time refused to take the car until they looked at the filter. Surprise surprise a day later they called saying it was blocked and had been replaced. Also took several weeks for them to fix the radio and tried to charge us, they claimed it wasn't designed to use the Bluetooth to play audio from a phone and that's why the dab tuner didn't work (what planet do they live on?!) Again, we had to dump the car on them and refuse to remove it until they took our request seriously. Recently I thought I'd give them another chance and I requested new brakes and pads be fitted to the car as they have worn, only for them to call up and try and charge 150 more than the Ford motorcraft service website advertises. Where do they pull these numbers from if they are trying to charge more than Ford themselves say it should cost?! Based on these experiences I cannot recommend the service centre as they simply cannot be trusted and do not take the customers requests seriously. But to end on a positive the parts centre will get the requested part in a timely manner and kindly contact you when its ready. Also, the sales staff are very polite and attentive so again, no issue there, just make sure you do your homework first before letting the service centre quote you for work and be prepared to challenge anything you aren't sure on!
